Ciarra
Ciarra Marrufo was born and raised in New Mexico and now lives with her family on a small farm outside of Las Cruces. Her work arises from a life devoted to inquiry and where psychology and Eastern tradition meet in service of recognizing what is already whole.
She holds graduate degrees in Education and Psychology and has spent over a decade working within public systems, supporting individuals and communities. These experiences inform a grounded presence that prioritizes listening, discernment, and care.
A 500-hour registered yoga teacher trained in hatha, vinyasa, yin, restorative, and yoga nidra, Ciarra emphasizes meditation and pranayama as portals into direct experience. She teaches from a non-dual orientation, inviting students to rest as awareness itself and to recognize their true nature.
As a yoga therapist, she meets the individual wherever they are and helps to co-create a practice that moves towards remembering wholeness. In working with non-ordinary states, she allows the deeper intelligence of the psyche to guide healing, integration, and expanded self-understanding.
Sound is at the heart of Ciarra’s practice. Through both group and individual sessions, she offers a space for people to turn inward. Using vibration her work supports shifts on the neurological, physiological, and biochemical levels of the body. Her sessions are an invitation to rest, listen, and reconnect with yourself, your intentions, and the deeper rhythms within and around you.
